The Gainesville Chiropractic Clinic was started in 1992, when Dr. Cliff Griffin, originally from Michigan, moved to Gainesville in order to purchase his practice. Michigan's loss was definitely Gainesville's gain, and this chiropractic clinic comes very highly recommended.Dr. Griffin wasn't always a chiropractor. With a degree in aviation, he was teaching a chiropractor how to fly planes, when the chiropractor taught him something in return: how chiropractic helps people with all kinds of health problems. He said that to be truly healthy, you have to feed the body the proper vitamins and minerals. He also said that you need to have a healthy nervous system since the nerves control every other system in the body. The chiropractor then shared how a chiropractor's main focus was to remove any spinal interferences to the nervous system. This made a lot of sense to Cliff, who had suffered from severe hay fever and allergies all his life. Having been told that he'd be on medications for the rest of life, even though they offered only temporary relief of his symptoms, Cliff decided to go and see him. By starting to correct the problems in his spine and nervous system, Cliff's health started to return. By the next spring, for the first time in his life, he was completely symptom and medication free. To Cliff, this was unbelievable! He was so excited that he wanted to share this knowledge with the world - so he decided to become a chiropractor. Dr. Griffin graduated from Life University in Marietta, GA in 1984, and added a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree to his Bachelor of Science Degree.
The Gainesville Chiropractic Clinic is More of a Wellness Facility than a clinic. This means that the patient examination focuses on the whole person rather than on just the presenting symptoms. People are not just a back problem, a headache problem, or a stomach problem. These sympoms are just warning signs that the body is not functioning properly. The fastest way to eliminate someone's symptoms is to offer drugs and medications. However, all drugs have side effects, and the relief they provide is only a temporary one - they do nothing to promote healing or wellness. Dr. Griffin focuses on improving one's overall health regardless of the symptoms. He knows that by restoring and maintaining proper spinal motion, alignment and a healthy nerve flow between the brain and body, that your health, and therefore your symptoms, will improve.
This is one of the factors differentiating the Gainesville Chiropractic Clinic from other practices in the area. They are able to help anybody - from newborn infants to the elderly, and even people with osteoporosis because they never use any strenuous manipulation or twisting in order to correct a person's spine or nerve problems. They also advise their patients on proper nutrition and supplementation.

Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am-12pm and 2pm-6pm. Tuesday hours are from 8am-12pm. They are closed on Thursdays.
If you are one of those people avoiding chiropractic care because you are afraid, then you need to visit the Gainesville Chiropractic Clinic. They will be able to resolve your symptoms and improve your health without any strenuous manipulation or twisting.
